Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem seem like an incredibly mismatched couple, but get past that and weve got ourselves an appropriately unsettling Darren Aronofsky trailer. Its still unclear what were actually dealing with here, but Ed Harris has really seemed to embrace being typecast as the old mysterious creepy guy who shows up and nobody really knows whats up with him but his face is really old and creepy so its probably nothing good.
When Netflix hires David Fincher to direct the first two episodes of a new series, the odds are pretty good the show is going to be amazing. At least I think thats the premise. It feels like ifZodiacandSilence of the Lambshad a baby and then Netflix kidnapped it and sold it for profit.

This is the first teaser for Darren Aronofskys new filmmother!. All the official marketing and press stuff seems to be sticking with this lowercase exclamation mark way of writingmother!, so I guess thats the preferred horrible formatting? ApparentlyMotherjust wasnt weird enough for an Aronofsky film. Theres not too much to talk about here, since its only thirty seconds of confusing imagery and voiceover, but it definitely feels like a Darren Aronofsky movie. The full trailer comes out on the 8th, and the film hits theaters on September 15.
